The Deep Network: small but important steps in service of a great cause

The Deep Network: small but important steps in service of a great cause

The Deep Network project, in which the Athens Lifelong Learning Institute participates together with the Arctic University of Norway in Tromso and the German NGO Interchange, will have  its second online hub meeting on Friday the 1st of September, in which marine scientists, adult trainers and citizens interested in environmental protection can exchange views, plan future activities and examine what has already been achieved..

This project, co-funded by the European Erasmus+ programme, aims to support ocean sustainability, in line with the policy and guidelines of the European Green Deal, by facilitating access to scientific knowledge on marine research to all interested citizens through adult education.

Harnessing the power of every concerned citizen willing to volunteer for a just cause is a key element for the success of the project, and therefore it would be a great joy and honor for us and our partners for you to engage and contribute with your own new proposals and ideas. You can register for the second online hub meeting here.

For more information, please read the July/August newsletter and visit the project website, where you can sign up to join the Deep Network and help us make a difference in protecting our oceans and to transform the desire to volunteer into concrete action.
