Description

The 2Smile project aims at introducing, implementing and supporting the learning outcomes approach into compulsory education in schools across Europe. The project targets all youth at high risk of abandoning education. The disadvantaged at-risk youth needs educational experience focusing on “student – centred – education”, and a first step is looking at how compulsory education delivers in terms of “learning outcomes”. The final aim of the project is to start a European exploratory conversation, at local community, practitioners and public policy level on how compulsory education can be used as an alternative narrative for youth – at – risk, by using “learning outcomes” and “youth centred learning”.
