The Athens Lifelong Learning Institute invites you to the online discussion/focus group that will take place on Friday 19 July 2024 at 15.00-17.00 on the topic of the “Internship programme for NEETs-young persons not engaged in education, employment or training, with a focus on young migrants and refugees” that will be implemented in the framework of the European project Newcomers at work which focuses on the integration of migrants/refugees NEETs in the labour market.

The discussion is addressed to organisations dealing with vocational training and rehabilitation, researchers, youth workers, and NGOs and organisations dealing with refugees/migrants

The discussion is divided into two parts:

• Presentation of the tools that have been developed to be applied in the programme and in particular on the promotion of integration of NEETs in the labour market through internship programmes in enterprises.
• Discussion on the training and preparation of employers and enterprises to welcome unemployed NEETs for internships.

Participation in the focus group is voluntary and your personal information will not be published. The results of the discussion will be taken into account in the development of the internship programme.
