THE GREEN HERITAGE PROJECT
AND THE CONSORTIUM
The GreenHeritage project aims to identify the impact of climate change on intangible cultural heritage. To achieve this, a series of comprehensive, innovative tools and methodologies, will be developed with the purpose of enhancing knowledge about the threat of climate change, management, preservation, and protection of intangible cultural heritage.
It, also, aspires to function as an urgent reminder that climate change is present, affecting both directly and indirectly all aspects of Europe’s cultural heritage. GreenHeritage is an urgent call to stir up collective action.
Over the next three years, the GreenHeritage project will create synergies with professionals, training centers, administrations, local bodies, and civil society. GreenHeritage aspires to serve as a reminder that climate change is present, and affects, directly and indirectly Europe’s cultural heritage.
GreenHeritage is co-funded by the ERASMUS+ programme of the European Union for a duration of three years (12/2022 – 11/2025)
