European conference:

"Digital transformation and active ageing"

The Athens Lifelong Learning Institute organizes the European conference “Digital transformation and active ageing”. The conference will take place on 14 February 2024 at 10.00 at Impact Hub Athens, 28 Karaiskaki Street, Athens.

The conference is implemented in the context of the European project Fake News & Elders and is addressed to the elders, staff of organisations dealing with the elderly and other interested professionals and stakeholders.

It aims to highlight the issues facing older people in the modern digital age and to foster an open dialogue on active ageing and the digital inclusion of older people.

Among the topics to be discussed are the following:

  • Misinformation and fake news
  • Active ageing and inclusion
  • Intergenerational dialogue and digital literacy

The first part of the conference will be held in Greek and the second part will be held in English. The second part will be attended by the European partners of the project with whom you will have the opportunity to discuss your views and concerns.

The project partners are FRAME (Poland), IERFOP Onlus (Italy), FyG Consultores (Spain), E-Seniors (France), PELICAN (Czech Republic).

Participation is free of charge and participants will receive a certificate of participation.
