📢New media, new voices: children deconstruct gender stereotypes

📍The Athens Lifelong Learning Institute is organizing an event on “Deconstructing with children the gender stereotypes in new media” which will take place:

• on Thursday 31 August 2023 at 18.00,
• at Impact Hub Athens, 28 Karaiskaki Street, 10554 Athens, Greece.

👉The event is addressed to teachers, school counsellors, parents, youth workers, researchers, social enterprises and all interested parties.

👉It is organised in the context of the European project eMERGE which deals with gender inclusion and the deconstruction of gender stereotypes in new media and popular culture.

👉During the event you will have the opportunity to learn and discuss practices that can be implemented to deconstruct together with children and young people the gender stereotypes projected in advertisements, magazines, films, posters, podcasts, etc., offering them the basis to approach the concept of gender inclusion.
