The Athens Lifelong Learning Institute is proud to announce the release of the DataGame Toolbox — an innovative resource designed to support adult educators in teaching and promoting data privacy and safety through playful and experiential learning.
Developed in the framework of the Erasmus+ project “DataGame,” the Toolbox offers a comprehensive collection of training materials, checklists, guides, and pedagogical tools that help educators integrate data protection principles into their everyday teaching practice.
The Toolbox is available in two complementary formats:
- A PDF version, featuring structured training modules, practical exercises, and guidelines for educators.
- An interactive online version, hosted on the project’s website, where all tools are easily accessible and organised by thematic area for flexible use.
The nine thematic areas cover a wide range of topics, including:
- GDPR implications for online and classroom teaching
- Protecting learner data and technological security
- Reviewing educational technologies for data safety
- Sensitizing adult learners on privacy issues
- Communicating and managing data protection in education
By combining game-based learning, awareness activities, and digital literacy, the DataGame Toolbox aims to make the topic of data protection accessible, engaging, and meaningful for adult learners across Europe.
