The Project Manager will require a strong understanding of current social problems. The successful candidate will have excellent and proven programme management skills including planning, execution, monitoring, reporting, financial management and capacity building. The Project Manager will be responsible for delivering all programme outcomes on time, within budget and of high standards and quality.
Responsibilities
- management end-to-end complex projects in the field of social sciences and education.
- compilation project plans and ensure projects progress according to them.
- preparation of technical and financial reports.
- management of internal and external resources ƒor the timely deliver project activities according to the agreed project plans.
- identification on a timely manner of risks which would impact the project completion, as well as provide mitigation plans
- overall responsibility for the complete management of the project in close cooperation with the technical project coordinator;
Tasks
- daily communication with international project partners;
- project progress monitoring;
- preparation and processing of technical and financial reports;
- maintenance and update of project web page;
- organisation of teleconferences / project meetings / workshops / conferences.
Requirements
- educational background in social sciences
- excellent command of Greek and English,
- excellent writing, editing and reviewing skills,
- excellent communication skills,
- excellent ICT skills [Microsoft Office and social media].
