Social Work and
Prisoner Family Support:
A misty landscape

ONLINE SEMINAR

THE PROJECT

The Project UpFamilies – Online resources to support prisoners’ families is a European project, lasting three (3) years (2021-2024) implemented in parallel in five countries (Spain, Portugal, Romania, Germany and Greece) with the co-financing of the Erasmus+ European Program.

Recognizing the role that prisoners’ families can play in their safe reintegration after release, the project initially aims to provide an up-to-date and thorough mapping of all available services and agencies that offer support to the families of prisoners. In addition, the project aims to improve the skills of professionals working in agencies that provide supporting services to these families, in order to meet their unique needs.
