The Athens Lifelong Learning Institute invites you to participate in the presentation of the educational platform of the European project entitled “Strategic Partnership to Develop Open Educational Resources for Teaching Digital Citizenship – The DigCit Project”.

This project aims to promote digital literacy for youth in order to become active and responsible citizens in the contemporary digital environments. This is achieved through the development of innovative teaching methods, such as the project’s educational platform addressing young people and professionals who support and mentor young people.

The platform presented during the meeting includes selected modules like Health and Wellbeing, Rights and Responsibilities and Consumer Awareness which are considered necessary for contemporary digital citizens. The modules include educational material, video, practical activities, self-reflecting questions, activities in a forum and assessment. The coordinating organization “Team4Excellence” from Romania will also provide certifications after the completion of the meeting.

During our online meeting which is going to take place on Wednesday 23 February at 16:00-15:30, we are going to present the digital platform which includes the educational material. We aim to discuss the platform’s functionality and hear your suggestions for improvement, as you are going to have the opportunity to browse it yourselves and assess it with the use of a short questionnaire.
