DURATION:
The online training seminar entitled “Gender Equality in the Labour Market”, of a total duration of 18 hours, is implemented by the Athens Lifelong Learning Institute in the framework of the European project Transform, through blended learning.
It is addressed to any professional interested in issues related to labour equality, with particular emphasis on issues of gender inequality and discrimination.
Participants will have the opportunity to attend two (2) training sessions through the zoom platform synchronously, and to study the project’s training material on the project’s training platform asynchronously.
AIMS:
This training aims to provide knowledge and skills on existing gender-based discrimination and inequalities in the professional arena, while aiming at preventing and successfully addressing such discrimination.
Your participation will help you:
– understand the European framework in terms of gender equality in the labour market
– identify cases of gender inequality in the workplace
– be informed about the prevailing data in Greece and other European countries in relation to gender stereotypes in the labour market and their impact on gender inequality in the professional field
– acquire the appropriate skills to address gender discrimination in the workplace.
MODULES OF SEMINAR
The training modules of the seminar “[Gender equality in the labour market”] are as follows:
Module 1: Participation in the labour market
Module 2: Gender pay gap
Module 3. Gender pay gap between men and women: Section 3: Gender pay gap between men and women
Section 4. Gender segregation in decision-making and the labour market
Section 5. Deconstructing stereotypes in the labour market
MATERIAL:
For each of the training modules, rich educational material has been developed for both synchronous training sessions and asynchronous training on the project’s educational platform, accompanied by assessment tests, educational videos, and quizzes.
The total duration of the seminar is 18 hours, of which 8 hours will be conducted through synchronous training on the zoom platform, and the remaining 10 hours through asynchronous learning on the project’s training platform.
The training seminar will be started in the coming days. Participants will be notified about the date and the time of the training course.
